Each year, we have elections for the following academic year. However, a change has been made this year. The term for most committees is usually twelve months, but the committee for 2012 have had their term extended until Easter 2013 so that our elections are in sync with the rest of the university.
Only Law Society members can vote in the elections, and similarly, only Law Society members can nominate themselves for a position on the following years committee. Remember, membership fee is only £12 if you wish to put your name forward, or vote.
On the Elections day, everyone will be allowed to briefly scan the manifestos to see who has put themselves forward for candidacy.
You may only vote for ONE canidate per position. Proxy votes will not be accepted.
In the event that you wish to vote for no one, tick the box; RON (ReOpen Nominations). The ballots will be collated and counted, and the winners will be announced there and then.
