The School of Law at Bangor University was established in response to the high demand for Law provision in North Wales and enjoys the support of the region's legal profession, as well as BPP and the College of Law.
Our team of experienced and multilingual staff have taught in the UK and many countries overseas, and this expertise is reflected in the teaching of Bachelor and Masters courses.
All Bangor LLB degrees are recognised by the Law Society of England and Wales and the Bar Council, and therefore enjoy Qualifying Law Degree status.
Bangor Law degrees reflect the legal environment of the 21st century, focusing on legal systems and the legal environment in the UK and internationally. Courses address contemporary issues relevant to the business and political environment worldwide and they will equip students with the knowledge and skills required for operating successfully in the global marketplace.
To help students achieve their full potential, Bangor Law School offers a range of scholarships and bursaries for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The school promotes an environment of learning and research, staff are active researchers published in their field of expertise and a programme of regular guest lectures enriches the academic experience.
